shawn clark dvm
Dr. Shawn Clark has been a resident in the Bozeman region for only the past 2 ½ years, but spent a number of summers here during college and always thought about moving back. A 1998 graduate of The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, he initially practiced for 2 years in North Carolina, in both general practice and as an emergency and critical care veterinarian.
He and his wife moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2000, where they owned Evergreen Animal Hospital in Gig Harbor, WA. After the birth of their daughter, Rowan, they sold their Washington practice and moved temporarily back to Georgia to be with family. Most recently they have owned a small animal practice in Eagle RIver, WI.
Dr. Clark has a strong interest in both emergency and critical care medicine as well as in surgery. He feels strongly in making each animals visit to the hospital as stress free and pleasant as possible, and is committed to providing the highest quality care for his patients.
Dr. Clark loves being outside, be it cross country or backcountry skiing in the winter, hiking, climbing and fishing in the summer or tagging along as a hunter in training with various Montana friends in the fall. Currently Dr. Clark and his family have one small (but big in heart!) Jack Russell / Chihuahua mix and an overfed guinea pig. He hopes that a larger dog will also be added to the family in the near future!
