Amelie is a Montana native, and grew up in a big family on a farm in the Gallatin Valley. She has been a veterinary technician since 1999, working in both equine and mixed animal practices. After seven years working at a mixed practice in Helena, Amelie decided she wanted to change her focus to emergency animal medicine. She joined the team of technicians at PETS to moved back to the Gallatin Valley and started working at PETS in 2013.
When not working at PETS, Amelie can usually be found horseback. Whether it is halter breaking young weanlings, riding a two year old that has never been ridden before, or training professional performance horses, she will always be near horses. Amelie’s second love is her family, and when not working horses, she is caring for her nieces and nephews, Foxy and Chino, her long haired Dachshunds in tow.
