I too and against the use of bucking straps in rodeos. If the horse doesn't want to perform in a certain way, then it shouldn't have to. I think the horses look terrified or really angry, and that doesn't seem right, to treat a smart animal like that. Have you heard about the rodeo's in Illinois where one of the officials was shocking the horses to get them to "perform"? It's aweful. |

| actually the norm is that the horses are well taken care of and when the strap is off return to being quite placid... its not in the stock producers' or the "sport's" interest to have unhealthy, shocked or crazy horses | |
